Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 21, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes Our policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of Your information when You use the Service and tells You about Your privacy rights and how the law protects You.

We use Your Personal data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, You agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Mobile Messaging (SMS)

When you provide your mobile phone number to Functional Floors — for example, when you request an estimate on our website, ask us to contact you, or schedule a project — you are NOT automatically signed up for text messages — we use your number to call you. You receive texts only if you separately opt in (by telling us, or replying YES or START to a single confirmation message), covering your estimate, project scheduling and status, replies to your questions, and a post-project feedback request. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or reply HELP for help. You may also call us at (313) 937-6009.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Information may be shared with service providers solely to help us deliver these messages (for example, our text-messaging platform), and those providers are contractually prohibited from using it for any other purpose.

We do not sell your personal information. See also our SMS Terms and Conditions.

Calls

When you call us, we may record the call and have it transcribed, so we can serve you, train our team and keep an accurate record of what was discussed. Calls are recorded and transcribed for us by service providers (for example our phone and transcription providers), who may use the recordings only to provide those services to us. Some calls are answered by our digital assistant, Flori, who is an automated system, not a person. We keep call recordings and transcripts for as long as we need them for our business, a project or a legal reason. We do not sell them or use them for marketing. If you would rather not be recorded, tell us at the start of the call and we will stop recording or help you another way. To ask about or delete a recording, email sales@functionalfloors.com or call (313) 937-6009.

Website analytics and advertising

We use Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics to understand how people use our website. These tools may record how you move, click and scroll on our pages (session recordings and heatmaps); the text you type into forms is masked and not recorded. We also use advertising tools from Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Pinterest to measure and improve our ads. These tools use cookies and similar technologies and may receive information about your visit, such as the pages you view, whether you submit a form, and whether you click our phone number or email link. We do not share your financing or payment information. You can block cookies in your browser settings, turn off ad personalization in your Meta, Google and Pinterest account settings, or contact us at sales@functionalfloors.com and we will stop sharing your contact details for ads.
