About this messaging program
These Terms and Conditions apply to the Functional Floors text messaging program (the “Program”), operated by Functional Floors, 16911 Middlebelt Road, Livonia, MI 48154. By opting in, you agree to these Terms.
What messages you will receive
Functional Floors sends customer-care and transactional text messages relating to work you have asked us about or booked with us, including:
- Confirmation and scheduling of your estimate appointment
- Project scheduling, start times, and status updates
- Replies to questions you send us
- A request for feedback after your project is complete
How you opt in
Text messaging is optional, and providing your phone number does not by itself sign you up for texts — we use your number to call you about your estimate or project. You opt in only by choosing to: telling us you would like text updates when we speak with you by phone or in person, or replying YES (or START) to a single confirmation message we send you. This replaces any earlier wording that tied opting in to giving us your mobile phone number — for example, when you request an estimate on functionalfloors.com, ask us to contact you, speak with us by phone or in person, or schedule a project.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase. You do not have to agree to texts in order to buy anything from us or to receive an estimate.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies and depends on your activity with us. Most customers receive only a handful of messages relating to their estimate and project.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. Functional Floors does not charge for these messages, but your mobile carrier’s standard message and data rates apply to every message sent and received.

How to stop messages — reply STOP
You can cancel at any time. Reply STOP to any message from us and we will stop sending texts to that number. You will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, after which no further messages will be sent.
You may also reply with any of the following to opt out: STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, OPTOUT, or REVOKE. If you want to rejoin later, reply START, or simply ask us to sign you up again.
Opting out of text messages does not opt you out of phone calls or email, and it does not affect your project in any way.
Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of messages is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed. This Program may not be supported by all carriers or on all devices.
Privacy and your mobile information
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
Information may be shared with service providers solely to help us deliver these messages — for example, our text-messaging platform — and those providers are contractually prohibited from using it for any other purpose. We do not sell your personal information.

Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, and the account holder of the mobile number you provide or authorized to act on the account holder’s behalf, to enrol in this Program.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post any changes on this page and update the “Last updated” date above. Changes are effective when posted.
